Then on to downtown Pendleton for a tour of the underground.

and finnally our last dinner meeting.

Day Eight of Tater Trotting

Today we start off with Jet Boat rides up the Snake River from Clarkston, WA.

Most of the upper river is quite remote with no services (power, water and sewer) so it is abundant with wildlife.

After five hours on the Jet Boats its back to the hotel and get ready for the banquet.

Nearly everyone shows up for the Itialian Dinner Meeting

After a little Humor, a skit based on the play TONY & TINA's WEDDING, my brother Carl suprised his wife Diane by asking her to renew their wedding vows for their 27th wedding Aniversary.

Day Seven of Tater Trotting

As we leave Missoula, MT and head for home by way of Clarkston, Wa then Pendleton, OR some people experience problems crossing Lolo Pass, This time it was simply a clogged fuel filter.

On the way we have a quick stop at the Dog Bark Park Inn (www.dogbarkparkinn.com a B&B in Cottonwood, ID) for some refreshments and a photo op.

The owners were kind enough to take my camera in hand and snap a photo of me with my car (which does not happen all that often).

Then on to Clarkston where we just relax and chat about the trip so far with other cruisers.

We also continue in our Poker walk by having Cruisers draw three more cards in their hands here at the Museum.

Its then back to Missoula for a quick Show Shine at a local hotel and a short drivers meeting in a short rain shower.

Even though at 101 F it wells more like taking a shower with your colthes on .

Day Five Of Tater Trotting

Well today we got off to a good start. After last night having my brothers Edsel's fuel pump fail and my cell phone die, during breakfast we called a parts house and found a part for him and I went to a phone store and got a replacement for my cell phone.
When I got back the car was ready to go, but some of the other officials thought that Carl should have to wear the signs for running out of gas.

Some people can get the most out of the limited space that they have and carry a lot of STUFF.

Any way it's off to Missoula, MT with a stop in Sandpoint, Id for lunch provided by a local car club.

and to show a token of our appreaction for lunch the president of their club is given a commerative plaque.

Then we are off for a long drive to Missoula in 105 F temperatures and dinner on our own and to get ready for our Poker Tournement at the Prision Museum on Wednesday.

Day Four Tater Trotting

Today we go to Silverwood Theme Park for some fun in the sun. Once we all got parked in the special field they had reserved for us it was time to enjoy the rides.

Then back to Post Falls for a lovely evening cruise on the river at sunset.

Of course there were some set backs, Carl's Edsel died and we had to make emergency repairs to get it going again, my cell phone died (second phone of this type to do what its doing) but we are moving on to Missoula, MT for our next stop.

Tater Trotting with Cruise Oregon 2007

Today we start our anual trip with a bunch of old car people (don't want to say "classic" and offend the purists) I mean old cars, well some old people too.
This year we are driving through Idaho, so they are calling the trip "Tater Trotting" so I found "Darth Tater" & "R2 Spud2" to keep me company.

Rosie won't be joining me until later in the trip so we have "MINI-ROSIE" to keep me company.
I am going to try and upload a few pictures every night and some additional comments as well.
You will see as time wears on that my focus is usually on the cars, people and places in that order.
