The Wild Women Are In !!!!!!

Well It's Finally here! The Day we Open the New place to the public.
Of course the first person to see all of Stephanie's work out on display thought there wasn't going to be room for anybody else's work.
But we assured them that any Artists that sign up for Art Lockers would be given space to display their work.

I still have to finish the moveable wall, I just don't want to be in there working on it while we are open to the public.
Mom is just as excited about the opening as Stephanie is.

Stephanie is so busy right now. and enjoying every minute of it.

Upstairs we have the Library and Internet Computer ready as well as the lockers and

Tables to work on or sit at for classes or other meetings,

We have decided to leave the Hoist in place and build a permanent mount for it in case a teacher should bring in some heavy materials for a class.

Daryl also made us a counter top for our Media Cabinet, that will be used for Teaching and training.

So now Stephanie is all set up and just waiting for all the people to start flooding in.
Meanwhile things on my side are just starting to look like I want them too.

Like being finally able to park two cars inside at once.

I still need to mud the west wall and put up the last light, that Ben dropped off today.

Then it will be time to clean out what doesn't belong and bring in the lift.

Final PREP

Well Stephanie is finally getting to put her stuff back out on display,

She is getting ready of her "Sneak Peek" on President's Day Week-end.
We have the sink all hooked up and working, and this Wednesday Pastor Ray and the members of our Friday night Fellowship are coming over to help us dedicate our building.
I have even been able to do some cleaning on my side,
and have started to figure out how I want some of my tools to be placed.

Later this week I'll get ahold of the electrician about another light and more outlets for my side.

Getting Closer and Closer

Well things are really looking good now, Rosie is starting to get her displays in and I finished the dividing walls by adding slatwall above the glass.
I also have the lights in for the "kitchen" area and cut the hole for the sink.
I still need to finish the moveable wall but I have it wired and together and "IT MOVES".
Stephanie's friend Mary Ann stopped by to add her touch to the art in the bathroom.
We had Red make us another sign for the front of the building,
and we have them all up and in place.
